Homework Tips for Success
Keep an agenda to record all daily assignments and use the monthly calendar to record projects that have lengthier times to complete. Ensure you understand the assignment's criteria prior to going home and working on the assignment. If unsure, always ask for help from your teacher.
Try to do your homework at the same time daily, if schedules permit. Have all necessary materials on hand (extra paper, pens, pencils, pencil crayons, ruler, eraser etc.)
Choose a quiet place to complete your homework with little distractions around you ( iPods, television, music, groups of people) etc.
Try to do your work on assigned days, so the assignment requests don't pile up and get you frustrated!
Parents should regularly check agenda and homework to ensure that work is being completed on time and at a suitable level.
The more involved parents and teachers are in their child's education; the more successful the student will be in school!
Have a great year and enjoy your time at KLO!
